When I was a child, my father read Asimov and Zelazny to me. As a teenager, I gravitated toward the likes of China Mieville, Charles Stross, and Tad Williams because they wrote jaw-dropping, gear-turning science fiction, (future) fantasy, dystopian, and occult novels I could get lost in. My motivation to design comes from the desire to bring to life the stories you want the world to get lost in. Who am I? I'm a full-time graphic designer who specializes in book cover design. I'm also a geeky cat lover and a connoisseur of the weird, fringe, and magical. I specialize in Science-Fiction, Fantasy, and KidLit designs but enjoy working in all genres, as my portfolio shows. I use a mix of 3D design elements and stock images, which allows me to design anything your story requires. I have been a graphic artist for over a decade, working mostly in corporate advertisement. I’ve worked with all manner of companies, from mom-and-pop stores to multinational IT giants. My heart lies with storytelling, however, and nothing tells a story like cover art. What can you expect from me? When you buy a custom cover from me, we’ll work together to make your mental image a reality–or I’ll help you discover what you want your cover to look like. When you commission me, we’ll schedule a consultation about what you want and we’ll come to an agreement on the idea of the design. I prefer messenger or email as means of contact and you can always find me on Facebook. From there on, I’ll build your cover up with stock images, 3D graphics, and hand painting, then finish it off with a title treatment. You don’t have to do anything but give me a solid brief and sit back while I get to work. |
